How to Design a Logo with AI
Stop using random midjourney prompts. Here is the exact framework to generate scalable, professional vector logos using generative design systems.

Generating a pretty picture is easy. Generating a functional, scalable, mathematically sound logo mark that works at 16x16px as a favicon and at 4000x4000px on a billboard is entirely different.
The Problem with Image Models
When founders use basic image generators (like standard Midjourney or DALL-E) to create logos, they end up with high-resolution rasters full of artifacts, gradients that don't scale, and useless text attempting to spell their brand name in garbled alien runes.
A real logo must be an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic). It must consist of clean paths, precise bezier curves, and discrete solid shapes.
If your logo cannot be printed in solid black ink on a white piece of paper and still retain its impact, it is not a logo. It is an illustration.
The Solution: Parameterized Vector Generation
Modern brand platforms use specialized routines that don't "paint" pixels, but rather write math. When describing your ideal logo, always focus on the geometric primitive rather than the rendering style.
- Bad Prompt: "A cool futuristic 3D glowing wolf logo for a crypto app"
- Amazing Input: "A sharp, geometric, minimalist wolf head constructed from intersecting triangles. Tech industry. Solid flat colors. Monoline weight."
